Colour is deep red with a red/blue hue. The aroma exhibits red fruit, cherry, forest floor, rose petal and a hint of tomato leaf. A juicy fresh wine displaying flavours of berry fruit, plum skin, forest floor and a slight herbal note. The palate is soft and generous with good fruit intensity and a long berry aftertaste. Colour is deep red with a purple hue. The aroma exhibits lifted dark fruit, plum skin, bitter chocolate and cherry liqueur with subtle floral aromas derived from the small addition of Viognier. A very soft round wine with velvet like tannins. The palate is bursting with plum and raspberry fruit characters as well as some spice and savoury, black olive notes.
